This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
Peer Review Process
Any submission goes through an initial editorial screening. This initial screening decides whether the submission should go through to the review round. If the submission is robust in terms of language and formatting and adheres to the journal requirements, it is then forwarded to our reviewers, usually two or more for each submission. Reviewers’ judge articles based on the scientific content, importance of potential dissemination of a research findings to the world, research methodology and a variety of other criteria.
Focus and Scope
Journal of Oral Health Research is a not for profit, peer reviewed, open access journal with an objective of disseminating scientific information and research findings on all areas related to dentistry and to provide an opportunity for free exchange of ideas and information.
We welcome original articles, reviews, brief communications, letters to editor as well as case reports in the field of dentistry and related specialties. The articles submitted to Journal of oral health research should not have been previously published, and should not being considered for publication elsewhere. All articles submitted must comply with the author guidelines. The journal policy is to conduct quick and thorough peer review, thus facilitating rapid publication of the research.
This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...
